Privacy policy

Version of 30 October 2026. This policy explains what personal data galychanka.com collects, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is FARMING ENTERPRISE «GALYCHANKA», Sholomyn village, Lviv district, Lviv region, Ukraine. Contact for personal data matters: sales@galychanka.com.

2. What data we collect

When you send a request for a quote or a service request:

  • contact person's name and company name;
  • email and phone, preferred contact channel;
  • country and destination city or port;
  • request details: products, volumes, packaging, delivery terms, preferred dates, comment;
  • date and time of your consent to this policy and its version;
  • technical data: form language, the page the request was sent from, UTM tags of advertising links.

To protect the form from spam we do not store your IP address, only its one-way salted hash, from which the address cannot be restored.

Please do not enter data the request does not need, such as health, passport or bank details.

3. Why we process data

  • to answer your request, prepare a quote and agree a delivery or service;
  • to protect the form from spam and abuse;
  • with your consent, to analyse site traffic and improve the site.

We do not sell your data and do not send marketing emails without separate consent.

4. Legal basis

We process data under the Law of Ukraine «On Personal Data Protection» and, for visitors from the EU, also under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The legal bases are your consent, given by ticking the box in the form, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Spam protection relies on our legitimate interest. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent.

5. Who has access to the data

Only farm staff who handle requests have access. Technically, the data is stored and transmitted by our hosting and email providers, who act on our instructions. We may disclose data to public authorities only where the law requires it.

6. Retention

Request data is kept for 24 months from the date it is received. After that, contact data (name, company, email, phone, comment, destination, technical tags) is anonymised automatically. Only anonymous details for statistics remain, such as country and products.

Requests that the system automatically flags as spam are anonymised 30 days after they are received.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site uses browser local storage and one technical cookie it needs to work: your language choice (local storage) and your cookie choice (local storage and the gl_consent cookie). They do not require consent. The request form is protected from spam without cookies.

Google Analytics 4 cookies (for example, _ga) are set only after you click «Accept» in the cookie banner. Until then Google Analytics is not loaded. The _ga cookie lasts up to 2 years. You can change your choice at any time via the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of the page.

The Google map on the contacts page loads only after you click it. Google then receives technical data from your browser under its own privacy policy.

Google Analytics and Google Maps data may be processed on Google servers outside Ukraine and the EU.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • know what data about you we process and get a copy of it;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data deleted or anonymised before the retention period ends;
  • object to or restrict processing;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before the withdrawal;
  • receive your data in a machine-readable format (for EU visitors).

Write to us at sales@galychanka.com. We will reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, if you are in the EU, to the data protection authority of your country.

9. Data security

The site uses a secure HTTPS connection. Only authorised staff with personal accounts can access requests.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page. The version date is shown at the top.
